Signing in SmartUMS is NOT required with the CNP, Personal Id Number, nor the Matriculation numer.. Signing up and activation is required using the @ulbsibiu.ro account only once, upon registration. After you have activated the account, use only the authentication form (or the password reset form in case you forgot your password), not the registration form.
Sign-up (registration and activation)
1. Click on https://smartportal.ulbsibiu.ro/ then click on the Lets begin button
2. Click the Sign-up link
3. Complete the fields:User and E-mail @ulbsibiu.ro; Password and Confirm password
4. Click the Sign-up button
5. After registration you will receive a link by email; you will need to activate your account by accessing the link sent.
If the error message "There is no person with the default email address entered" is displayed at the top, make sure you are filling your @ulbsibiu.ro email address.
Sign-in
1. After activation, you can sign-in to the system by accessing the link in the activation message you received or directly from the portal https://smartportal.ulbsibiu.ro/ then click on the Lets begin button.
2. Fill in the username/email you registered with in the previous step and the password you set, then press the Login button.
3. When you sign in for the first time, you need accept the terms of use.
4. From the top right menu, click the Support link for information on using the system.
5. From the Settings side menu item you can change your account password. A notification message will be sent to your email address if you change your password..
Reset
1. If you have forgotten your account password, from the previous authentication form, access the Reset password. link.
2. Fill in the email address @ulbsibiu.ro with which you registered and access the link in the notification message received, then enter the password you want twice.
3. In case of a successful password change, a message at the top will be displayed: Operation successfully completed - Password has been reset successfully and a notification message is sent to the email address @ulbsibiu.ro.
4. After resetting your password, in the browser window that remains active, click the Login link and fill in the login details you reset.
Account locking and unlocking
1. If you have forgotten your account password and in the previous authentication form you have entered the wrong password 5 times, the account will be locked and a notification message will be sent to the email address @ulbsibiu.ro
2. The account will be automatically unlocked after 10 minutes or can be unlocked by resetting the password by the user in question after permanently locking the account by accessing the link in the locking message received.
